NAP – My best tip of the day
Wolverhampton 3.40 Phantasy Mac (5/4)
Likeable filly who improved to go close on return before bringing up a hat-trick of wins impressively beating a good horse in Lyrical Lady at Nottingham on penultimate start; far from disgraced last time; can resume her progress.
With Buick riding hot PHANTASY MAC looks a great bet here. She has won 3 of her last 4 and she still looks open to further improvement. I loved the way she made all to beat Lyrical Lady at Nottingham on first crack over a mile and a quarter and while she was beaten last time she was far from disgraced. Back down in trip here I think she’ll take a lot of beating. She should go forward and if she dictates I don’t see anything passing her. The one to chase her home is likely to be Glorious Peaches who improved to win last time and she should have more to come now handicapping. Cromarty hasn’t shown much but has had a wind op and with a hood applied might show up better but certainly needs to.

Hamilton 7.55 Clan Jock (2/1)
Tough sort who has won 2 of his last 3 starts and clearly loves it at this track; did very little wrong going down just a neck last time and a similar effort here back down in trip would likely see him salute the judge once more.
This won’t take a great deal of winning so it makes CLAN JOCK a standout once more. He drops back down in trip and if he runs to the level that saw him get within a neck of landing the hat-trick last time that may well suffice. It’s no surprise to see him figuring so prominently in the betting and he is the most likely winner for me. Ayr Poet has won over C&D and looms as a danger but probably want softer ground to be seen at his very best. Hot Team saw his winning run come to an end last time and likely needs more to upset the selection. Can’t Stop Now was rubbish at Sandown and needs a move to his new yard to perk him up so have a say of hitting the frame. The rest have enough to prove as well.
