NAP – Best tip overnight
MY AUSTRALIAN NAP RUNS IN RACE 8 AT NORTHAM ON THURSDAY MORNING!
Race 8 Northam 10.10 Kia Ora Jewel (11/8)
Likeable mare who had been running well before getting her head in front convincingly at Pinjarra last time; sure to build on that now and this looks another winnable assignment on paper so should take all the beating.
Great chance for KIA ORA JEWEL to follow up. This mare is going the right way now getting her head in front at Pinjarra last time. She ran on strongly from off the pace and scored with a couple of lengths in hand. She has more to come and if she steps forward the rest will be playing catch up here. Forlane could go well but I actually think Princess Milli might improve enough to be the danger. She finished fifth on debut here but showed encouragement and should step forward. Do It Right won at Pinjarra last time but that is his only success from 17 attempts so he will need more to cope with the selection as well. Surveillance best of the rest but needs to clock a career best even to have a chance.

Race 7 Bowen 7.34 Bondi Beau (11/8)
Tough sort who was back to his best at Mackay last time winning by a neck but doing it with a bit in hand; won over track and trip before and if settling again should take a lot of beating in this field; most likely winner.
Hard to look past BONDI BEAU following that recent win at Mackay. He has won 7 times now from 28 starts and under likely aggressive tactics will take a lot of pegging back. Let’s Go Bobby is a little more exposed with 9 wins from 43 starts but he looks the danger following that length second to Brad last time. That’s pretty solid form in the context of this race. Cracker Essgee has blown out the last 3 times now so has a bit to prove but did win at Doomben back in February and was a good third at Gold Coast in March. If somehow returning to that level of form then he also has to be noted. Hit Snooze has 10 wins from 59 starts but is 0/5 at this track which is enough to put me off.
