Stayed on strongly to win going away over hurdles at Ludlow back in March; that form franked since with the second Wild Max winning 3 of his next 4 starts; fit from a spin on the Flat at Newmarket; more to come.
Slim pickings on Sunday so I’m heading over Jumps for my NAP and MIDNIGHTS LEGACY catches the eye at Fontwell for Alan King. This son of Midnight Legend ran out a very impressive winner over hurdles at Ludlow back in March. He wasn’t entirely disgraced next time at Plumpton and then switched back to the Flat showed a great attitude to get up on the line at Epsom. He wasn’t at his best at Newmarket when last seen but that would have left him spot on for this and he still has potential to do better over hurdles going up in trip. The obvious danger is last time out winner Sofia’s Rock who won a seller emphatically at Market Rasen and should put up some resistance for his new yard.

York 2.20 Pink Crystal (10/3)
Likeable filly who improved to win at Thirsk and then showed a great attitude to weave a passage through and get up late at Brighton; nothing wrong with her second here dropped down to the minimum.
I’m confident PINK CRYSTAL is still improving so even up 3lb she should take a bit of beating here. She just found the drop back to the minimum against her here last time and back up a furlong in trip she should be hitting the line strong under Tom Marquand. There is plenty of pace on with the likes of Parisiac and Woodlands Charm likely to go forward and with a bit of luck she will get the gaps. Aleezdancer won at Ripon last time beating Dakota Gold so looks the danger if matching that form here. Aphelios went mightily close on stable debut at Chelmsford before going one better convincingly at Carlisle. He is also on the up so has to be respected. Azure Blue and Lucky Man best of the rest.
