MY AUSTRALIAN NAP RUNS IN RACE 8 AT PAKENHAM ON MONDAY MORNING!

Race 8 Pakenham 7.30 American Actress (11/4)

Promising mare who looked back to something like her best finishing third over C&D last month, only beaten narrowly in the end; still unexposed so obvious chance if managing to build on that here.

After winning at Kilmore AMERICAN ACTRESS wasn’t really at her best here or at Sale but bounced back when third over track and trip last time. She has more to come after just 7 starts now and should be primed to take this out. She got caught quite far back last time so had a lot of ground to make up. If she is closer this time around she should be finishing best of all. Savannahlander went close when beaten a length last time and looks the danger off the back of that. Bellsprout also has a bright future but more is needed on that last run where he could only finish midfield. Coaxial won on penultimate start but then was held last time and needs more given his overall profile in a race like this.

MY AUSTRALIAN NEXT BEST WON AGAIN OVERNIGHT AND IS CHASING A HAT-TRICK!

Race 7 Grafton 7.35 Tabulam (11/4)

Good looking grey who had been running to a decent level before finishing down the field at Sunshine Coast; bounced back when third at Gold Coast last time though and with more to come can win this.

I can see TABULAM finishing best at Grafton overnight. He has only had 7 starts winning once and placing 3 times as well. He has more to come now and this extra trip will only help him as his stamina comes into play. I’m Gunna Cashew is a fair yardstick but she only has 1 win from 13 starts so a place might end up being her best hope again. Likely not too far away though so worth noting. Pedal To The Metal might be a greater threat as he looked good winning on penultimate start at Sunshine Coast before blowing out last time. If he bounces back he should give the selection most to think about. Princess Zeddy was second last time and if improving is best of the rest but she also has enough to find.
