MY AUSTRALIAN NAP RUNS IN RACE 6 AT NARRANDERA ON MONDAY MORNING!
Race 6 Narrandera 7.55 Seventh Seal (10/11)
Likeable type who has 5 wins to his name and plenty of placed efforts; knocking on the door in recent starts finishing runner-up the last twice; this looks winnable so great chance to get back in the winners enclosure.
I know SEVENTH SEAL is quite short being a shade of odds-on at the time of writing but that is with good reason. He brings the best form to the table and if he runs his race I’m pretty sure that will suffice here. He will push forward and should take a lot of catching. Big Day Out is second fav and is more exposed and ran poorly at Benalla last time. I think that tells you about the lack of quality on show from the opposition. Bombdiggity is a decent enough yardstick but again finished second last at Wagga last time and that leaves him with plenty to prove against the selection who is bang in form right now. Similar comments apply to Ecker Road who has some good form to his name but is out of sorts.

Race 7 Belmont 8.42 Cosmopolitan Girl (11/8)
Good looking filly who arrives here chasing a hat-trick after winning at Northam and then following up over further here last time; form stacks up and with more progress to come she should prove hard to beat in this field.
Lots to like about the improving COSMOPOLITAN GIRL and I think she looks well placed to justify favouritism. She was nicely on top last time and comes back in trip here but that doesn’t bother me too much given how good she has looked the last twice. Lucky Sue is 0/6 overall and 0/3 over the trip and is second fav so this race clearly lacks quality. Rathmine Lady was third last time and looks a filly with potential but might just be bumping into one here in the shape of the selection. Finest Clobber is just 1 from 9 and finished stone last here latest so plenty to prove off the back of that disappointing effort. The rest all look up against it and pretty expose. Be surprised if the fav doesn’t win this.
