MY AUSTRALIAN NAP WON OVERNIGHT AND RUNS AT KALGOORLIE ON THURSDAY!
Race 8 Kalgoorlie 10.27 Pedal Power (1/1)
Promising type who has taken his form up a notch recently winning 3 of his last 4 starts; nicely on top last time and fitter again looks well placed to follow up; definitely one to keep safe against this field.
This looks a great chance for PEDAL POWER to win again. He has really improved recently and impressed last time. He will be fitter again and with further improvement to come should be up to justifying favouritism. Ruling Dame won here last time and is unexposed so looks the most likely danger to the favourite. Take It Up has only won once from 8 attempts over the trip and is only 3 from 15 overall. He could run well but I’ll be surprised if he manages to beat the two mentioned above. The rest all look up against it. Town Hall has won twice here but needs more on recent showings to land a serious blow. Westernize is on a hat-trick but this is definitely much tougher so he could prove vulnerable.

Race 2 Hawkesbury 4.15 Silvanito (6/5)
Improving colt who failed to justify strong support at Canterbury last time but didn’t shape without promise and if he kicks on now he looks well placed to make the breakthrough; big chance.
With the blinkers applied SILVANITO could prove a different proposition here. He is definitely going to improve again and this is winnable so no surprise to see him trading as clear favourite for this. Take The Kitty improved from his debut run to finish fourth here last time. With more to come he looks the most obvious danger to the selection. Surreal Leo needs to show more but you get the impression he will do at some point. Likely needs more experience though so while he is noted here he is passed over for now. Samurai Dream makes her debut in a weak race so is worth a market check. Diamond Blush best of the rest but she has had a fair few chances already so looks vulnerable as well.
