Exciting colt who didn’t get the clearest of runs through in the Flying Childers but impressive winner of the Rosebery since, beating a subsequent winner; improving all the time and clearly the one to beat.
I was really taken with the way PRINCE OF PILLO quickened away from the front at Ayr last month and he is clearly a colt going places. He won his first 2 starts before suffering a troublesome passage in the Flying Childers at Doncaster. He quickly bounced back from that to win the Rosebery and looks a sprinter improving fast. The horse he had trailing 3 and a half lengths back in second Bolt Action has won since so the form has been franked too. Crispy Cat finished in front of the selection at Doncaster and looks one of the dangers. Rogue Spirit was third in the Super Sprint and was back to form winning at Haydock a fortnight ago so also has to be respected albeit this definitely tougher.

Promising colt who made it a perfect 4-4 keeping on strongly to win over in Ireland last month; answered every call so far and can still improve again so very much one to keep on side; bigger pots await.
I’ve been a big fan of STREETS OF GOLD throughout and it was great to see him make it 4-4 in Ireland last month. That was a competitive sales race but he found plenty to assert in the closing stages. He remains open to further improvement especially stepping up to 7f for the first time here and I’ll be surprised if he loses his unbeaten tag. Coco Jack is likeable and looked good winning at Hamilton before going down just a short head at Chester. He meets that rival on 8lb better terms so looks most likely to emerge as the main danger. Shouldvebeenaring beat Bolt Action at Ripon following that sales race win at York but was only fourth in the Mill Reef. Should still be fighting it out for a place.
