Race 5 Echuca 5.30 Outlaw Ned (best price 6/4)
Likeable type who improved again to win at Wangaratta on penultimate start and then only went down a length doing some good late work at Benalla last month; clearly in good form and could be hard to beat here.
Let’s get the Aussie NAP back firing on Tuesday! I’m going to head to Echuca where OUTLAW NED looks a good bet to get himself back in the winners enclosure. He impressed on penultimate start and has been in great form lately again shaping well in defeat beaten a length at Benalla last time. He has more in the locker yet and as his stamina is drawn out we should see an even bigger performance. Donatrice has a similar profile and is the obvious danger to the selection. She ran well when second at Warracknabeal last time and if she keeps improving she should give the fav most to think about. Super Quick Love is exposed in comparison but isn’t running badly either.

Race 7 Goulburn 7.30 Annual (best price 7/4)
Tough mare who is better than what she showed last time at Canberra; her win at that venue back in August was promising and this is easier so if she bounces back she should take an awful lot of stopping; worth chancing.
This looks a straight shootout between the market leaders ANNUAL and Fantini and it is the former that I’m confident on. Her best form stacks up and while she needs to bounce back she has been found a good opportunity here and I’ll be surprised if she doesn’t take all the beating. She will go forward and get first run on Fantini. The latter won at Sapphire Coast but hasn’t been seen since April so does lack match fitness which is what sways my vote. Honeysuckle Choice is exposed in comparison and is 0/3 at this track albeit finishing second and third on two of those occasions. Song Cycle won at Nowra back in August but has gone off the boil somewhat since so is going to need to find more here.
