Race 7 Warwick 6.15 Camino Real (best price 7/4)
Improving mare who took another step in the right direction to get back to winning ways at Hawkesbury last month; ran on strongly from well off the pace showing a nice turn of foot; more to come so leading claims.
With more to come CAMINO REAL should be winning this. She impressed at Hawkesbury given she got a fair way back but was strong at the finish and this extra yardage is only going to help her progress again. She is easily the most likely winner of this for me so 7/4 looks a nice price as I was expecting shorter. More Secrets has already won 3 times so she has to be feared but she was only fourth at Canterbury last month and will need to better that form to lay a glove on this favourite. Hoover Lucy ran in a good race at Randwick last time and might not be far away here but 1 win from 9 is enough to put me off on this occasion. It’s 10/1 bar the rest and hard to see anything running well enough to win this.

Race 7 Caulfield 6.25 Economics (best price 2/1)
Promising colt who has won both starts since finishing second on debut; good attitude to prevail at Scone and then a stylish winner at Rosehill last month; form stacks up and can improve again so obvious chance.
Heritage winner ECONOMICS is hard to oppose here. He beat Opal Ridge last time and that horse has franked the form winning since. That visual impression was backed up by the clock as well so I really don’t see what is not to like here. He is 2 from 3 and is sure to keep improving with experience. Greece is a promising filly having won nicely at Geelong. She could be the danger as she also looks to have a bright future. Grand Impact is 2 from 2 having won at Geelong on debut and then followed up at Sandown last time. He has also looked a nice horse in the making but this is a tough ask against the front pair in the betting. Make no mistake this race is going to throw up plenty of future winners.
