MY US NAP WON LAST NIGHT AND RUNS AT FINGER LAKES ON MONDAY NIGHT!
Race 7 Finger Lakes 9.04 Adiamo A Firenze (best price 11/10)
Promising colt who looked potentially exciting winning by 5 and a half lengths at Saratoga on penultimate start; things didn’t go to plan up to a mile in a Grade 1 last time; can get back on track back down in trip.
The step up to a mile didn’t suit as anticipated last time so back down to 6f here I think ADIAMO A FIRENZE can resume his progression. He looked a smart horse in the making winning easily on penultimate start and after just the 4 starts he is still open to plenty of improvement. Acoustic Ave has won 2 from 3 and also looks to have a bright future so is the biggest danger in here. Stonewall Star improved from her debut to win nicely last time but this is a big step up from that so she’ll need a fair bit more again. Mo Trump was behind Acoustic Ave but in front of Gold In Them Hills last time so likely won’t be far away but a big ask to spring the upset here.

Race 7 Fort Erie 8.53 Shakoo Makoo (best price 11/8)
Improving type who blew rivals away winning by 7 lengths over C&D on penultimate start; backed that up with a gutsy win up half a furlong in trip last time; can keep progressing so hard to oppose once more.
Back down to 5f I’m expecting SHAKOO MAKOO to prove hard to catch. He was particularly impressive over C&D on penultimate start and a return to that sort of form comfortably makes him the one to beat in this field. Silence Breakers is also on a hat-trick but this drop back in trip might catch him out as he has been winning over 6f and further. Be The Change was behind the latter last time and also found Wonnefrac too good 3 starts back so needs to do better and isn’t exactly getting any younger. Wonnefrac landed a hat-trick of wins before blowing out last time. He needs to bounce back to have any sort of a chance here but not entirely written off as he has a good attitude when on song.
