MY AUSTRALIAN NAP WON AGAIN OVERNIGHT AND IS ON A HAT-TRICK ON MONDAY!
Race 8 Ballarat 6.00 Redzoust (best price 6/4)
Good looking chestnut colt who improved to win over C&D last month and then backed that up again last time, asserting in good style; can keep improving and this looks another good opportunity so hat-trick beckons.
Great chance for REDZOUST to complete a C&D hat-trick. He has come into his own recently and with the promise of more to come should have too much for these rivals. Cheloon won at Murray Bridge but was found out at Mornington last month. Needs more on that to lay a serious glove on the selection. Moon And Back has more to come but was further down the field when last seen back in May. Might have more to come but this is tough enough especially lacking match fitness. Mir has just the 1 win from 14 and needs more to get competitive here as this is quite a good race for the grade. It is 14/1 bar the rest and hard to see anything springing an upset in here.

Improving mare who made the breakthrough in good style at Grafton last time; bred to be better than this level so now she has her head in front she could kick on; this looks another decent opportunity to win.
Jabbar looks opposable here to me! I much prefer last time out winner PROOST as she looked good at Grafton and likely has more to come yet. She is bred to be pretty useful being a half-sister to dual Group 3 winner Order Again. Confidence will be high after that last victory and if she progresses again she should put it up to these. Bar the front pair it is 10/1 the field which sums up the lack of quality in opposition. Holbrook is massively exposed with 6 wins from 80 starts and is going to need more to get involved here. Zalmatian won at Cairns but then finished last at Sunshine Coast so needs to bounce back to get competitive. Feudalist has just the 1 win from 16 so also needs to find more.
