MY AUSTRALIAN NAP WON OVERNIGHT AND RUNS IN RACE 8 AT BELMONT!
Race 8 Belmont 9.42 Bernbrae (best price 11/8)
Promising filly who improved to open her account over a similar trip at Northam last month, running on strongly from off the pace; can keep progressing and looks well placed to go and follow up here.
It wouldn’t surprise me if BERNBRAE goes off odds-on at Belmont overnight. She impressed to win well at Northam last time and looks to have found a good opportunity to follow up. She can keep improving for a while yet and will get a good pace to run down here. Manavendra has a similar profile but did run a bit flat at Ascot last time beaten 6 lengths into fifth. He could still be the danger if bouncing back to form here. Crezee is more exposed but did run quite well when third at Northam last time so looks pretty solid to rattle the frame. Mr Fahrenheit is a solid yardstick but has just the 1 win to his name and will need more to spring a surprise here. Dance Of The South likely best of the rest.

Race 3 Port Macquarie 3.25 Time For Victory (best price 7/4)
Likeable type who impressed getting back to winning ways over slightly shorter here last month; only denied a nose at Hawkesbury last time so remains in top form; hard to beat with likely more to come.
Great chance for the largely consistent TIME FOR VICTORY to get his head back in front. He already has 4 wins and 6 places from just 22 starts so is building a nice profile. He only missed a nose at Hawkesbury last time and if running to that sort of level again will likely justify favouritism here. Crowned Empress is a useful mare and she will be the danger. She was back to her best winning at Grafton last time and another run like that would at least keep the favourite honest. Leave Me Some is more exposed and needs more on recent form to get involved here. Chase My Crown blew out at Rosehill last time but will at least find this a bit easier. The rest all seem to have enough to prove to land a telling blow.
