NAP – My best tip of the day
Exeter 3.00 Mr Glass (best price 7/4)
Won 2 of his 3 starts in bumpers before winning his first two outings over hurdles; went off the boil after but has plenty of scope and should make a chaser; undergone wind surgery with the yard firing in the winners.
My NAP is chasing a HAT-TRICK of winners as we start a new week and I’m taking a chance on one in the shape of MR GLASS at Exeter on Monday. This horse looked promising initially over hurdles winning his first two starts before finishing behind Constitution Hill and then going off the boil. He has had a wind op over the summer and could improve plenty now sent chasing with the stable going so well. This is winnable and I can see him being well backed. Masters Legacy impressed beating Sizable Sam on chase debut over C&D but he is turned out quick enough and might just be bumping into one in the shape of the selection. Young Butler still has potential but might need more time.

Wolverhampton 7.30 Exquisitely (best price 15/8)
Promising filly who went down narrowly on reappearance at Nottingham and then missed just a nose at Newcastle last month, headed in the final few strides; remains open to further improvement so big shout here.
A mark of 71 on her nursery debut should be well within reach for EXQUISITELY and I’m struggling to see how she doesn’t go close here. She has improved with each start and missed the smallest of margins going down a nose at Newcastle last month. She promises to do better again and really should be shorter than 15/8 at the time of writing. Tephi has proved mega frustrating and while she will probably run well again she is likely to find one or two too good in here. A bigger danger might come from Wakai Umi who won 2 of her last 3 in Ireland and could improve again on debut for her new yard here. Democracy Dilemma is still lightly raced and he will find this easier but still has a bit to prove.
