Race 4 Hawkesbury 4.10 Fashion Legend (best price 1/1)
Promising type who built on his debut run to win at Grafton back in the summer; beaten at Kembla Grange after but ran well in defeat; open to improvement on return and looks to have plenty going for him.
There should be lots more to come from FASHION LEGEND so he gets a confident vote to make a winning return at Hawkesbury on Thursday. He has warmed up for this with two recent trials and should be spot on fitness-wise. He would relish a good pace to run down and hopefully gets that here. Shadow Vampire got his head in front at Kembla Grange last time and looks the most obvious threat off the back of that. Inequality won at Wellington but has gone off the boil since and needs more against the top 2 in the betting here. Rubigal impressed at Tuncurry but failed to back that up last time which is concerning. Rossy’s Typa Girl will also have confidence high but this is a much stronger race now.

Race 7 Rockhampton 7.09 Brigalow Boy (best price 1/1)
Likeable type who is building a progressive profile having made it 3 from 5 at this track back in April; beaten at Mackay on final start but given time since and likely has lots more to come now; worth chancing.
The improving BRIGALOW BOY already has 5 wins from 11 starts to his name and he can improve again now. This C&D suits him well and he can enhance his already impressive course record. Xanthus is more exposed but did win at Mackay on return and looks the danger off the back of that. Whoshotthemagician won here before finishing fourth at Eagle Farm and also has the ability to get involved so not one to completely discount. Kravitz was poor here last time but has been given time since. If bouncing back on return would have a squeak but opposable on the balance. Ornate has tons of experience but a place chance is probably her best chance in here as it is very competitive.
