NAP – Best tip overnight
MY AUSTRALIAN NAP IS STILL CHASING A DOUBLE AND RUNS AT WAGGA ON MONDAY!
Race 2 Wagga 2.50 Mogo Magic (best price 10/11)
Created a big impression powering clear to win by 6 lengths on debut at Sapphire Coast, heavily backed beforehand; drawn perfectly and open to stacks of improvement so should have no problem following up here.
The unbeaten MOGO MAGIC should make it 2-2 at Wagga on Monday morning. He won as he liked on debut when well backed and looks a cut above this grade. He will go forward from a good draw and should have too much for this field. Sparring finished nearly last at Randwick and will need to bounce back to have a chance. I think Deepmind could be a greater threat as he improved to win here last time and looks a nice horse. It is then 16/1 bar those mentioned but Zoulon does at least have a win to his name. He is 0/5 over the trip though that would be worrying. Khaleej has a similar profile to the latter and will likely be found wanting here in the closing stages.

Race 4 Wagga 4.05 Lipstick Swing (best price 6/4)
Good looking chestnut mare who left her debut run well behind to win at Narrandera and then followed up here last month; scope to keep improving and looks well placed to bring up the hat-trick here; worth chancing.
This looks a good opportunity for the improving LIPSTICK SWING to make it 3 in a row. She won at Narrandera and then followed up in a better race here last time. This is tougher again but she is trending the right way and looks great value against the favourite. Oakeys Choice is the danger as he also won 2 of his first 3 before struggling at Randwick. These are calmer waters so he should give the selection a race. Of the rest Newtown Is Coming is plenty exposed now but he ran well when second here last time and a similar run wouldn’t see him too far away again. Red Kanzi is also fairly experienced to could run well but needs to better recent form to get involved that’s for sure.
