Good looking chestnut mare who made a really promising start winning on debut at Donald back in the summer; highly tried since but back to her best when going close at Ballarat; more to come so should win.
Stepping up to this longer trip should bring out the best in ELLEN’S LICENCE and I’ll be surprised if she doesn’t win this. She still has plenty of potential and rates a leading player in this field. This is easier than what she has been facing and it is no surprise to see her top the betting. Kenzee River is exposed in comparison. She is a 7yo who has won 4 times from 37 starts. She does arrive here at the top of her game so looks the danger but I’ll be amazed if the favourite doesn’t improve past her. Brungle Raider has a similar profile to the selection and should go well having won at Swan Hill last time. Of the rest Recap is pretty consistent and will likely be in there pitching for a long way.

Race 2 Murwillumbah 3.45 Sophia’s Lass (best price 11/8)
Progressive filly who is eyeing up a hat-trick of wins after scoring at Lismore and Ballina; more in the locker if needed and under aggressive tactics she will likely take plenty of catching once more; worth siding with.
I’m sticking with the promising SOPHIA’S LASS at Murwillumbah on Tuesday. She has won her last two and is clearly thriving right now. She can keep improving given she has only had a handful of starts and very much the one to beat. Spiele is 1 win from 7 but should be suited by this longer trip so she looks the danger as the betting is suggesting at the time of writing. Alight The Night has potential but completely blew out last time so comes here with a bit to prove after that. She did win at Grafton before that blip so might be worth considering as a danger still. Endangered Species has the form to get involved but just hasn’t been producing it recently and that would have to be concerning.
