Travelled like a dream before always doing enough to prevail narrowly at Wetherby on reappearance last month; front pair came nicely clear so a 5lb rise doesn’t look enough to anchor her here; sure to go well.
It has been a tough week so far so hopefully I can get my NAP back firing on Thursday. I really like MISS MILANO at Kelso. She travelled so strongly before doing just enough at Wetherby on return and up 5lb Nicky Richards looks to have found a good opportunity for her to go and follow up. The second Sister Michael has run since and finished runner-up again bumping into another progressive horse so the form looks solid. Without Conviction ran quite well on return at Hexham and with that under her belt reverting to hurdles here she looks the main danger. Jen’s Georgie got within a neck of victory when last seen but is likely to come on for the run here. Your Place is a maiden and was pulled up last week.

Taunton 2.20 Huelgoat (best price 15/8)
Unbeaten over fences making it a perfect 4-4 at Newbury last time albeit in a match; remains capable of better again and the five-timer should be on the cards; jumping was an asset last time; hard to beat.
I’m surprised the traders have opened as big as 15/8 about HUELGOAT as he looks to have been improving with every run over fences. I know it was just a match he won at Newbury last time but his win at Fontwell prior to that was impressive too and he looks a nice prospect. He is up 2lb but looks up to this task and will likely be a warm order again. Minella Buster won nicely on chase debut at Kempton and backed that up in a fiercely competitive race when third at Exeter last time. Looks the one most likely to give the selection a race. Potters Venture won over fences at Newton Abbot last time but finds himself in deeper waters here. Investment Manager can improve but will need to.
