NAP – Best tip overnight
MY AUSTRALIAN NAP RUNS IN RACE 7 AT GERALDTON ON SUNDAY MORNING!
Race 7 Geraldton 8.20 Edmond (best price 11/10)
Tough sort who was back to his best winning over shorter here at the start of the month; backed that up going down narrowly into third last time; hard to beat if bringing his best form and looks the most likely winner.
Great chance for EDMOND to make it 2 wins from his last 3 starts. He impressed on penultimate start and missed by just a nose into third last time. He brings the best form to the table and really should be winning this. Arabian Riches is plenty exposed in comparison but is running well enough to hit the frame. I’ll be surprised if he beats the selection. Billy Jack is probably a greater threat as he won at Carnarvon last time and if fit enough on return should run well. Hip Wiggle finished nearer last than first at Belmont and needs to leave that behind to have a chance in this so no surprise to see her quite a big price. Django Dream has promised much but as of yet hasn’t really delivered.

Race 8 Newcastle 6.30 Johnny Dash (best price 15/8)
Improving with experience and comes here chasing a hat-trick of wins after impressing again at Goulburn last time; bred to be better than this grade so big chance he can make it 3 wins in a row; hard to beat.
The penny has dropped for JOHNNY DASH now and I’m expecting him to be hard to beat. He is eyeing up a hat-trick of wins and he should prove a cut above this grade. He is a half-brother to Group 1 winner Spright so could have some big pots in him down the line. Baden Road has won 2 of her last 3 and fitter now looks the danger. Pacheco won at Kempsey last time but this is a stronger race. Sequana has 4 wins from 20 but had been out of form prior to running better when third over C&D last time. The Bullring could do better in time but he failed to back up that Gosford win so is going to need to bring his best to get involved. I’d be surprised if any of the others managed to land a blow.
