AUSTRALIAN TIPS ARE BACK ON TUESDAY! Racing Down Under from Tamworth, Mornington, Tuncurry and Kilcoy. Overnight Double pays 10/3!
NAP – Best tip overnight
MY AUSTRALIAN NAP RUNS IN RACE 8 AT TUNCURRY ON TUESDAY MORNING!
Race 8 Tuncurry 6.50 Willinga Freefall (best price 1/1)
Unbeaten winning both starts to date; justified strong support to make a winning start on debut at Scone; backed that up winning at Taree on return; capable of better and well placed to complete the hat-trick.
No surprise to see WILLINGA FREEFALL a short price for this as he has looked promising so far winning both starts. He is open to improvement and with added fitness on side should take a lot of stopping here. Prefer To Be Ready won at Scone on penultimate start but wasn’t as good at Randwick. She could still have more to come after 11 starts so might be the danger. Grecian Lass has just the 1 win from 10 starts but didn’t shape badly when third at Taree last time so definite place claims. Bel Suono is more exposed and isn’t running well enough to lay a glove on the favourite. Don’t Forget Dad is also out of form so enough to prove to get involved. Hard to see much else figuring in here.

Race 6 Kilcoy 6.04 Pennyworth (best price 11/8)
Likeable mare who was back to her best winning convincingly over track and trip last month; inside draw a big plus here and if she is in the same form she should take a lot of beating; looks worth chancing.
After a string of consistent efforts PENNYWORTH found herself back in the winners enclosure over C&D last month. She has an inside stall here so should be in the box seat to take advantage again here. This isn’t a great race and she makes plenty of appeal as the most likely winner. Tuscan Leather has knocked on the door since winning at Birdsville back in September. He still needs more to upset the favourite. Fresh Prince brings winning form to the table but this is tougher. Bonnie And Clyde might still be capable of better so it wouldn’t be a huge shock to see her emerge as the danger. Hard to see anything else getting involved in another race that seems to lack any real strength in depth.
