MY AUSTRALIAN NAP WON AGAIN OVERNIGHT AND IS CHASING A HAT-TRICK NOW!

Race 2 Moruya 2.50 Iron Will (best price 6/5)

Impressive start winning on debut by 4 lengths at Goulburn on only start back in the summer; given plenty of time since and sure to progress so looks well placed to make it a perfect 2-2 against this field.

There are a few nice types in here but perhaps none more so than IRON WILL who impressed on debut relishing testing conditions. We haven’t seen him since but he should fire fresh and looks to have the most potential of these. Parrying opened his account at Nowra last time and is a good looking type. If he improves again he is the likely danger to the favourite. Vella Fox ran well on debut and then won at this track last time so is also respected with more to come. Miss Lamar has plenty of experience but has a habit of finishing second having done that the last three times now. Likely she is vulnerable again in the closing stages. Discreet Miss has more to come but this is definitely tougher.

Race 4 Taree 4.25 Full Press (best price 6/5)

Likeable type who got his head back in front at Murwillumbah over a similar trip to this; good pace on again here so should be running on strongly at the finish and looks well placed to go and follow up.

This is a bit tougher but FULL PRESS won with plenty up his sleeve last time and should be capable of following up. He ran on well in the closing stages last time and if reproducing that should take a fair bit of beating. Sian only has 3 wins from 34 starts but 2 of them have come over this trip which is encouraging. If he improves on that last run then he should give the selection most to think about. Fine Weather has gone off the boil and is hard to recommend in his current form. Hombre Grande ran well when second at Taree but then disappointed last time so that also leaves him with enough to find to get involved. Persian Beauty might be the place bet as he is 2 from 4 at the trip.
