MY AUSTRALIAN NAP WON AGAIN OVERNIGHT AND IS CHASING A FIVE-TIMER NOW!

Race 3 Rosehill 2.30 Passeggiata (best price 11/10)

Exciting filly who made all the running impressively to win on debut at Gosford last month, firmly in command at the line; sure to improve from that initial effort and should have too much speed for these.

My Australian NAP continues to go from strength to strength as I landed my FOURTH winner in a row overnight. That is now five winners from six in 2023 so hopefully I’ve got another one lined up on Saturday. I’m going to head to Rosehill where PASSEGGIATA looks hard to oppose. She was dominant on debut winning head in chest and with natural improvement should be able to make it a perfect 2 from 2 here. Field Wiri stepped forward again to win at Gosford and looks the danger but she is more exposed than the selection so might find the favourite improving past her. True Crime has won 2 from 4 and is another one that should have a bright enough future.

Race 2 Gold Coast 2.38 Royal Entrance (best price 6/4)

Promising colt who dominated the opposition to make a winning start at Warwick Farm last month, showing a good attitude to prevail at the line; perfect draw here so should bounce out and take the catching.

This looks a straight shootout between Quasimoto and ROYAL ENTRANCE and I’m keen to side with the latter. He is a good looking sort who showed bright early speed before holding on by a nose on debut at Warwick Farm. Should be a lot more streetwise now and can go a perfect 2 from 2 here. Quasimoto is promising himself having gone close at Wyong and he should have more to come now. It won’t be easy conceding first run to the favourite though and I’m not sure he’ll be able to peg him back in time to land a blow. Limero is making his debut and did win a trial at Doomben so shouldn’t be completely overlooked. Unless the market speaks massively for him though he is best watched.
