MY AUSTRALIAN NAP RUNS AT ROSEHILL ON SATURDAY MORNING!

Race 2 Rosehill 1.55 Kalino (best price 11/10)

Progressive form returning with an impressive win at Randwick last month, well on top at the finish; unexposed over this trip so with more to come should be able to follow up here; worth keeping on side.

Great chance for KALINO to go in again. He routed them on reappearance at Randwick and this doesn’t look any tougher so there shouldn’t be too many excuses. Garrison is also a decent yardstick and comes here with confidence high too having won at Randwick last month. Looks the obvious danger and should be winning again soon. With Your Blessing won at Randwick and then finished third last time so shouldn’t be underestimated. Sacrimony is a consistent sort and might not be too far away but this is a good race so likely up against it. Xpresso is on a hat-trick but again this will be a much sterner test of his credentials. The other three look up against it and will need to find more.

Race 4 Flemington 1.00 Right You Are (best price 6/5)

Tough sort who comes here at the top of his game having won at Sandown and then Moonee Valley last time; always doing enough to prevail by a nose latest; hat-trick on the cards if in the same form.

I loved the way RIGHT YOU ARE won at Sandown and then he dug deep when needed to prevail last time. A similar run likely beckons here so the hat-trick could be on the cards. Spirit Ridge has won 6 from 30 so looks the danger but needs to improve on that fourth at Randwick last time. Swords Drawn is 6 wins from 39 so more exposed but on his best form he definitely has to be feared. See Marie is a nice mare who at least shaped better the last twice but enough to prove on the balance. Adelaide Ace finished last at Flemington last month so that leaves him with too much to find to win a competitive race like this. Stars Of Carrum has only won 1 race and looks up against it again here.
