Promising mare who looked to need the run and experience when only fourth on hurdles debut at Ffos Las on return; quickly improved to win gamely at Uttoxeter last month; more to come now pitched into a handicap.
This looks a good opportunity for MISSED TEE to make it 2 wins from 3 starts under Rules. She won despite lacking fluency at Uttoxeter and has plenty more to come now pitched into a handicap. She’ll likely be ridden forward by Harry Skelton and with the yard firing in the winners I’m expecting her to prove tough to beat. Ramo was expected to do much better when only third of four at Leicester last time but it is still early days and this test should suit better so he is the biggest danger in the field. Leading Theatre showed a good attitude to prevail at Fontwell and likely improve in defeat when second at Taunton so is definitely another one to note but might just be bumping into a couple here.

Wolverhampton 6.00 Barenboim (best price 15/8)
Progressive form on the AW since joining David O’Meara winning 4 of his 6 starts this season; ran on strongly to win going away last time so step up in trip could see him progress again and come out on top here.
The way BARENBOIM hit the line over a mile and a half at Lingfield last time was impressive and with potential for more to come again stepping up to this trip he may well salute the judge once more. Imperium is a decent yardstick for Roger Charlton and looks the one most likely to give the selection something to think about. He wasn’t at his best at Kempton last month but that was a fiercely competitive race. Mukha Magic was back to winning ways at Lingfield and while this is tougher stepping back up in grade he should give his running again so don’t entirely rule him out going well. Solent Gateway can be frustrating but probably needed the run following a wind op at Southwell last time.
