MY AUSTRALIAN NAP RUNS IN RACE 4 AT WARWICK FARM ON THURSDAY!

Race 4 Warwick Farm 3.50 Junqueira (best price 1/1)

Exciting filly who has won 2 from 3 so far and always looked to be coming home the stronger when resuming winning ways at Gold Coast last time; open to further improvement and well placed to go in again.

Hard to oppose JUNQUEIRA at Warwick Farm on Thursday. She is a progressive filly who has already struck twice from just three starts. She is open to improvement and is comfortably the most likely winner in this field. I can only see her odds contracting further so the price looks worth taking now (especially as you get BOG with bet365 anyway). Walkin’talkin’ is a decent yardstick who has been running well with recent figures of 13112 so he will be the danger. That was a solid effort in defeat last time too so I’d comfortably have him ahead of the rest. Shadow Devil has won 2 from 8 but needs to better that Randwick fourth last time to have any sort of a chance in this race.

Race 2 Sandown 2.55 Wishlor Lass (best price 2/1)

Unbeaten mare who made it a perfect 2-2 at Warrnambool last month, showing a good attitude to prevail by a nose after a dominant debut win; produced 3 winners since so form stacks up; leading claims once more.

Everything suggests WISHLOR LASS is going to be hard to beat here. She trounced them on debut to win by 7 lengths and then followed up gamely by a nose last time. That race has produced three subsequent winners since so it stacks up. She can improve again and while this is a bit tougher she should be up to the task. Rioyuki was only denied a nose herself when runner-up at Flemington last time and if running to that sort of level again looks the one most likely to finish second. Defining remains unexposed but needs to bounce back from that Sandown run last time. Colombe D’or won on debut and then finished second at Cranbourne and is another one likely to be in there pitching.
