MY AUSTRALIAN NAP RUNS IN RACE 7 AT TAMWORTH ON FRIDAY!

Race 7 Tamworth 5.55 Satay Chicken (best price 6/4)

Promising type who caught the eye going close on debut here back in the summer; stepped up to this trip on reappearance and won convincingly; more to come and should win again.

Hard to look past the improving SATAY CHICKEN at Tamworth on Friday. He did it nicely over track and trip last time and is clearly getting the hang of things now. He is open to improvement and looks the one they all have to beat. Silver Scissors is a good looking type but she has just the 1 win from 17 to her name and likely place claims if her best chance again. Rhythm Is A Dancer is more unexposed than the latter so could be a greater threat especially as he won at Lismore last time. Lacks a run though so might come on for this. All Too Holy is a fair yardstick but he is 0/3 over the trip now and that would be enough to put me off for the time being.

Race 6 Hobart 7.23 Muscle Up (best price 6/4)

Came from off the pace to win with a bit up his sleeve at Launceston last month; that ended a frustrating run for him so now the penny has dropped could really kick on; worth chancing.

I’ll be surprised if we haven’t seen the best of MUSCLE UP and he is taken to follow up that Launceston win last time. He is open to further improvement after just a handful of starts and is expected to get the job done once more. Miami Sun arrives on a hat-trick and is a good looking chestnut so should be the one that gives this favourite most to think about. Sistine won here on penultimate start but has a bit to prove after that run last time and is coming up against some nice enough types. Fake Magic is more exposed than most but didn’t shape badly when third last time. More is likely needed though. Early days for Cartoon Graveyard but probably needs more time.
