NAP – My best tip of the day
Naas 1.40 Hands Of Gold (best price 13/8)
Promising son of Shantou who left previous form miles behind to win impressively at Gowran Park last month, staying on strongly through the line; can confirm that form with a couple of these and looks the one to be on.
The step up in trip brought about the best in HANDS OF GOLD and he ran out a really convincing winner at Gowran Park last month. That was just his fourth start and he looks sure to build on that. He had Purse Price 6 lengths trailing back in second and Della Casa Lunga behind her too. I see no reason why they’ll reverse that form and I’m pleasantly surprised he is 13/8 in the betting. Flemensfirth gelding Arthor ran well when beaten narrowly into third at Thurles last time and if he improves up in trip he could emerge as the danger. Of the rest Rocco Bay is a likeable mare and if she bounces back she might be a decent bet to hit the frame.

Warwick 4.23 Dime Store Cowgirl (best price 7/4)
Likeable mare who improved to clock a career best winning readily at Catterick last month; up just 4lb from that and with the promise of more to come looks well placed to follow up; one to keep firmly on side.
I was with DIME STORE COWGIRL at Catterick last month and I see no reason to abandon her now with further improvement on the cards. She has gone up just 4lb and is obviously open to further improvement on what is just her fifth start here. This lacks strength in depth but at least Waterloo Quay arrives in some sort of form so could be the danger. He bumped into the well handicapped Barrier Peaks at Uttoxeter and that rival has obviously won again since off a 10lb higher mark to frank the form. Of the rest Imperial Alex is quite interesting now handicapping. Never put in the race behind Libberty Hunter last time but that race has already started to work out.
