MY AUSTRALIAN NAP RUNS IN RACE 3 AT CANTERBURY ON FRIDAY!

Race 3 Canterbury 8.00 Tavi Time (best price 6/4)

Progressive sort who has won both starts since debut and impressed last time going clear by 4 lengths at the line; obviously open to further improvement and stepping up in trip again expected to prove hard to beat.

With the promise of more to come TAVI TIME is expected to prove hard to beat at Canterbury on Friday. He won nicely last time and deserves a crack at better company now. He was firmly on top last time and clearly looks on the upgrade. Strait Acer won at Randwick before only managing midfield last time. Still has more to come so looks the danger. Fairway Star is more exposed than the pair mentioned above but has won 2 from 6 so still needs to be respected. Episodic improved from her debut run to finish third at Randwick and with more to come might get competitive here but likely needs more to win this. Infinitive best of the rest but would also have to improve.

Race 7 Wodonga 5.30 Euphemia (best price 7/4)

Good looking chestnut mare who deserved to get her head back in front over C&D last time, showing a good attitude to go clear; still open to further progress and looks well placed against these to go and follow up.

Hard to look past EUPHEMIA at Wodonga on Friday with confidence high after that C&D win last time. She has more to come after just the 14 starts and looks the most likely winner in here. Vested Interest impressed winning at Yarra Valley last month but has suffered a couple of heavy defeats since so a bounce back is called for. Shalily has just the 1 win from 12 starts so might be vulnerable in the closing stages. Miss Athena won at Wagga last time but she is going to need more to get involved here as it is quite a good race for the grade. Ziggi Rocks is much more exposed than most in here and just hasn’t been in good enough form to land a blow at the business end in this race.
