MY AUSTRALIAN NAP WON OVERNIGHT AND RUNS AT PAKENHAM ON THURSDAY!
Race 8 Pakenham 10.15 Rocket Scientist (best price 11/8)
Promising type who made a bright start winning convincingly on debut at Benalla last month; well backed on that occasion and hit the line hard; good draw so should be hard to beat.
This looks a good opportunity for ROCKET SCIENTIST to go a perfect 2-2. He impressed winning on debut and with a good draw to boot here he should have the gears to run this field down. He will improve from that initial effort and it is no surprise to see him favourite. Titan Of Choice is a fair yardstick but he only has the 1 win from 13 attempts which would be a bit concerning. Ran well enough to have a say here when third at the track last time though. Brooklyn Boss is 2 from 10 and was second behind Russian Dancer here last time. Could go well if building on that. Highland Harley won at Kilmore but finds himself up against better horses here.

Improving filly who comes here chasing a hat-trick after winning nicely again here last month; building a progressive profile and with further improvement to come should win this.
There was lots to like about the way REDAVNI hit the line last time and with further improvement to come she looks well placed to complete the hat-trick. She had a wide draw and was settled back but really found her stride late swooping past them all. If she gets another decent gallop to target here she should win again. Just Let It Out won at Rockhampton on penultimate start and was ten a good second last time so could emerge as the danger. Borgov won here last time and has a chance but he is in a deeper looking race so will need more to follow up. Adaminaby looks to have enough to find on what we’ve seen so far so is likely vulnerable.
