Race 4 Warwick Farm 5.30 Cut On A Dime (best price 11/10)

Promising colt who looked to be improving fast when he won at Randwick last month; beaten twice since but in top company; this much easier and can resume his progress now.

It is hard to look past CUT ON A DIME back down in grade. He was only actually beaten 5 lengths despite finishing second last in Group 2 company last time. Before that he was down the field in a Group 1 and will obviously find this a great deal easier now. He is lightly raced after just a handful of starts and will be expected to win this. State Of America won at Gosford in January but has been beaten twice since. He likely has more to offer and is probably the danger. Union Gap didn’t run badly when third at Trentham but this looks much tougher and he will need to improve again. Owen Country best of the rest but a place his best hope probably.

Race 2 Sandown 5.05 Kailash (best price 5/2)

Good looking sort who improved to get back to winning ways at Moonee Valley last month; should improve again up further in trip and looks the most likely winner in this field.

The step up in trip again should really suit KAILASH and he looks a good bet to follow up at Sandown on Wednesday. He is going the right way now and should keep progressing as his stamina is drawn out. Sous Les Nuages has some solid form to his name but he will need to better that run last time to spring an upset here. Mr Blackwood has won 3 times from 15 starts and at least arrives here with confidence brimming after scoring at Sale. Heir To The Throne is exposed but has won 9 times and knocked on the door at this track last time so must also enter calculations. The rest are hard to warm to and will need much more.
