Thursday’s American Horse Racing Tips

Promising filly who looked potentially smart winning on debut and while she was beaten twice after they came in Graded company at Belmont and then a good race at Aqueduct; steps up in trip to a mile now and the best is yet to come.

I know DONTLOOKBACKATALL didn't hit the line with much conviction at Aqueduct when last seen in November last year but that was in a very good race and the fact they gave her a try at Graded level before that tells you the potential they think this filly has going forward. She has had a winter on her back now and could be ready to resume her progress. Jellicle Katz looks the leader so I expect the selection to just track through before proving the stronger in the closing stages. The danger is probably Blind Spot but she also needs to bounce back from that reappearance run.

Improving filly who left her debut behind to win in good style over 6f last month; sure to keep progressing and likely very hard to beat now switched to turf for the first time; will go forward and prove hard to pass in the closing stages.

Great chance for the improving DARING DO to make it 2 wins from 3 starts. She impressed last time and is getting better with experience. She will bounce out and could prove tough to pass on what is her first try on turf. Peach Cobbler is more exposed but completed a hat-trick on penultimate start before struggling up in grade last time. This isn't any easier though so she is going to need to improve to emerge as the danger. Lost My Sock showed a good attitude when fourth when last seen but has a big absence to overcome which won't be easy.
