Tuesday’s Australian Horse Racing Tips
ANOTHER QUIETER DAY DOWN UNDER! Racing in Australia on Tuesday from Warrnambool, Gunnedah and Thangool. Overnight Double pays 11/2!
NAP – Best tip overnight
Race 3 Warrnambool 3.40 Impulsar (best price 6/5)
Good looking chestnut who looked out his depth when down the field at Caulfield; bounced back and improved again to win his next two starts; more to come this campaign so worth chancing.
I know IMPULSAR was beaten at Rosehill and Mornington when last seen but his two wins at Pakenham and Randwick were impressive enough and with more to come I think he can make a winning return here. This race clearly lacks strength in depth and I think he is the most likely winner as the betting is suggesting. Carisbrook was a good second at Warracknabeal last time but this is tougher so he needs to build on that and then some to come out on top. Autissiodorum only has 1 win from 20 starts so while he could finish second I think he is vulnerable for win purposes. The rest all seem to be up against it.

Race 1 Gunnedah 3.20 Himorher (best price 15/8)
Improving filly who caught the eye going down just a length on debut at Muswellbrook back in February; sure to come on from that initial experience and found the right race here.
No surprise to see HIMORHER top the betting for this as she looks the most likely winner. She showed plenty on debut and should come on a fair bit from that. This lacks strength in depth and I’ll be surprised if she doesn’t go and get the job done. Samita was down the field on debut at Scone so will need to leave that behind to have a say here. Villa Treville is quite interesting on debut and with her sire American Pharoah she might be the one to give the selection most to think about. Storm’s End is quite a big price but only for place purposes as the fav looks a cut above these if improving again.
