Progressive form building on a promising debut run to win with a bit in hand at Pinjarra at the start of the month; further improvement to come and should make it 2 from 3 here.

This looks a great chance for the improving TRIPLE JAY to win again. He impressed making the breakthrough last time and looks to bring the most potential in the field. He will be ridden forward and there shouldn’t be too many excuses. Split Jete is eyeing up a hat-trick after winning at Pinjarra and Ascot and while he is more exposed he looks the clear danger. Dadirra was poor last time but did look on the up prior to that so is another one that must enter calculations in a decent looking contest.

Good looking chestnut who looked back to something near his best when denied just a neck on reappearance at Kembla Grange; sure to strip fitter so obvious shout in this.

With the promise of more to come GREBENI gets a confident vote to get back to winning ways at Warwick Farm in the early hours of Wednesday morning. He was closing fast when second on return and with added fitness will be hard to hold out this time moving back up in trip. Second fav Celestial Spirit has just the 1 win from 10 but isn’t running badly. She could feature but I’ll be surprised if she is good enough to win this. Lyrical Gangster might pose a few more questions as he has more to offer yet.
