Monday’s American Horse Racing Tips

Tough mare who recorded some decent speed figures last season with both wins coming at this track; form tailed off towards the end of the campaign but given time since and back on turf here could prove the answer.

This looks a decent chance for STORMY WAGER to get back on track. Some of her form stacks up from last year and she is still just a 5yo so could have further improvement to come. She likes to push forward and dictate and back on turf that's what I expect her to do. Skippinjustice is probably the danger just because she is so unexposed. She ran poorly when last seen though and was actually behind Talktomejustice so will need to reverse that to emerge as the danger. Revs Run will strip fitter from that reappearance run but is held by a few of these on last years form anyway.

Unexposed filly who knuckled down well for pressure to get herself back in the winners enclosure on penultimate start; only beaten half a length on final start in a very good race; should be able to strike on return.

With further improvement to come KAYLA should be able to come out on top here. She won twice last campaign and impressed on penultimate start with how much she found off the bridle. She only missed half a length in a $100K event on final start and given this is a great deal easier I expect her to return to the winners enclosure now. Shemeansbizness also has two wins to her name and is unexposed so she could be the danger but she weakened tamely when last seen and that would be a bit concerning. Raisin Raisin arrives in winning form but this is definitely a bit more competitive.
