Monday’s Australian Horse Racing Tips
NOTEBOOK BANKED OVERNIGHT! More racing Down Under to start a new week on Monday from Taree, Ballarat and Albury. Overnight Double pays 7/2!
NAP – Best tip overnight
Race 5 Ballarat 6.00 Eight Shout’s (best price 10/11)
Promising type who ran on strongly from off the pace to make a perfect start winning on debut at this track earlier this month; obviously open to improvement and good chance to make it 2-2 here.
Despite going off at 25/1 the likeable EIGHT SHOUT’S made a winning start and with more to come he is well placed to remain unbeaten. He should get a stalking ride again and I see him coming home best once more. Heavy Duty is just 1 win from 14 and was nearer last than first here last time so has plenty of work to do. The Exchange is still fairly unexposed with 1 win from 8 and might emerge as a bigger danger but he was still well below par at Kyneton last time so has plenty to prove as well.

Race 5 Albury 6.25 Sacred Oath (best price 11/8)
Likeable sort who was back to something like his best winning at this track when last seen last month; won 2 from 7 now so building a nice progressive profile and looks the one to beat.
The improving SACRED OATH looks well placed to score again. He impressed last time and is still open to further improvement so should make it 3 wins from 8 starts here. He likes to be ridden cold so hopefully they go a good clip as he will be finishing strongly. Silverdale Chief is more exposed but he is a decent yardstick and he didn’t shape too badly when fourth at Wagga and could threaten. Star Buyer likely best of the rest but enough work to do to trouble those mentioned above.
