NAP – Best tip overnight
Race 7 Muswellbrook 7.25 Ceasefire (best price 11/10)
Likeable type who was given too much to do when only midfield at Warwick Farm last month; a lot better than he managed to show there and this looks a good chance to get firmly back on track.
This is easier than the race CEASEFIRE ran in last time and I can see him resuming his progress now. He has a good inside draw and shouldn’t meet as many problems as he did last time. He has the best form and should justify favouritism. Rising is still unexposed having won 4 from 11 and could be the danger but he needs to bounce back after disappointing at Randwick last time. Hit The Target has won 9 times but is much more exposed and will likely find a few improve past him here.
Race 7 Murwillumbah 7.10 Goomeri (best price 6/5)
Promising type who made a perfect start winning on debut at Port Macquarie last month; sure to build on that initial performance and looks well placed to make it 2-2 against this field.
Great chance for GOOMERI to remain unbeaten and make it a perfect 2 from 2. He impressed winning by 4 and a half lengths on debut and with further improvement to come should be too good for these. Bonjour Rupert has won 2 from 5 and impressed scoring at Coffs Harbour last time so could be the danger. Shaquila has only won once from 8 but some of his form does stack up a fair bit so he could also run well and get competitive. It is double figures the rest and hard to recommend much else in here.

This is probably my most popular multiple Down Under as it combines both my Daily Notebooks along with my Value Tip and Daily Eye Catcher. Usually really good value too. Pays 350/1!
