MY AUSTRALIAN NAP RUNS IN RACE 3 AT SALE ON WEDNESDAY MORNING!

Race 3 Sale 3.50 Cernan (best price 6/4)

Likeable type who was rewarded for his consistency winning impressively by nearly 6 lengths at Hamilton last month; hard to beat if in the same form for this so no surprise to see him justify favouritism.

The way CERNAN won at Hamilton was impressive and if he turns up in similar form here then quite simply he will follow up. He was 5 and a half lengths on top last time and was a very convincing winner. Tom Foolery is less exposed but he only has 1 win to his name and he needs to bounce back after last time. Nothin’ Leica High has won 5 times but he was nearer last than first at Geelong last month and needs to leave that performance behind. El Diez probably best of the rest but up against it.

Race 4 Canterbury 5.35 Flashing Steel (best price 6/4)

Good looking chestnut who arrives here at the top of his game eyeing up a hat-trick of wins; still open to improvement especially over this trip which he is a perfect 2-2 over right now; hard to oppose.

With more to come especially over this trip FLASHING STEEL looks the one to beat. He is eyeing up a hat-trick and will likely be a warm order come post time. He has relished the step up in trip and is on the upgrade now. Money From The Sky is likeable and he looks the danger. He impressed winning at Rosehill on penultimate start but then ran a bit flat last time. If bouncing back he should give a good account of himself. Cinque Torri has won 5 times but he is a bit more exposed and is 0/2 over the trip as well.
