AUSTRALIAN EYE CATCHER BANKED OVERNIGHT! More racing Down Under on Tuesday from Pakenham, Lismore and over at Nowra. Overnight Double pays 11/2!

Race 6 Nowra 6.50 Divine Vicky (best price 6/4)

Promising filly who won on debut despite showing signs of inexperience; sure to be more streetwise now and fitter too so obvious chance to make it a perfect 2-2 against this field.

Given she wasn’t really backed and she ran a bit green that was a big run on debut from DIVINE VICKY to win at Kembla Grange last month and given a bit of time since she should be a bit more like the finished article here and should remain unbeaten. She showed a good attitude on debut and looks to have plenty going for her. Not That Easy is a fair yardstick but she has had 11 chances already with just the 1 win. Should run well but likely vulnerable. King Charles won at Sapphire Coast so should also get competitive.

Race 5 Pakenham 5.30 Sparkling Blue (best price 7/4)

Likeable mare who has already won 3 times and was back to something like her best when runner-up over slightly further here last month; hard to beat if building on that.

This looks a good chance for the likeable SPARKLING BLUE to get herself back in the winners enclosure. She knocked on the door last time and if building on that should go one better. Aurolaa won at Kyneton but then struggled at Sandown and has a bit to prove off the back of that. If bouncing back he could still be the danger though as this lacks strength in depth. Nakedness is unexposed at least and is another one that could easily get competitive so don’t underestimate. The rest look up against it at much bigger prices.
