MY DAILY DOUBLE LOOKS A GREAT BET ON TUESDAY! Racing Down Under in Australia from Wyong, Ballarat and over at Townsville. Overnight Double pays 4/1!
Race 2 Ballarat 4.30 Private Island (best price 6/5)
Good looking chestnut filly who was well backed on debut before going down a length and a half at Kyneton; solid run again when runner-up at this track last month; ready to make the breakthrough now.
With further improvement on the radar now PRIVATE ISLAND is hard to look past here. She has finished runner-up on both starts to date and wouldn’t need to progress much more to open her account. She’s Ternacious is yet to score in 4 runs but has shown enough to be the biggest danger in here. Incorporation is more exposed and you’d be surprised if something didn’t improve past her. Kawaiisu bounced back to form to finish third at this track last time and if building on that again might be able to run better than her odds suggest at least.

Race 5 Townsville 6.25 Go Getaboy (best price 11/8)
Likeable type who had been knocking on the door a while and deserved to get his head back in front at Oak Park last week; confident high after that so could be hard to beat in what looks a winnable race.
Great chance for GO GETABOY to follow up. He won last week and his overall profile is fairly progressive with 8 wins from just 20 starts. In those defeats he has placed 9 times as well so an ultra consistent sort who should give his running again. Molongle Surprise is less exposed but he should have probably won at this track last time and will need to better that form to get the better of the favourite. Full Recognition is chasing a hat-trick but both those last two wins came at Cairns and this looks a deeper contest so he might be left vulnerable this time.
