The way PRIMEVAL quickened up in the closing stages to win on debut at Doncaster was impressive. Rossa Ryan pushed her out under just hands and heels and she was very much learning on the job. She hit the line with ears pricked and looked like she'd improve plenty for it. I expect her to win this before going on to better things in time.

Alpha Zulu did go down into my notes after winning at Kempton but that was back in March and we haven't seen him since. He has undergone wind surgery and might be the danger but a lack of a run would be a slight concern.

I have had my eye on OVERACTIVE for a while now and it was good to see him go through the race so smoothly winning cosily at Lingfield last time. He seemed to travel much better and was value for more than the winning distance that day. He is open to further improvement so the 6lb rise doesn't concern me too much. He should run another big race.

Ajyad has taken her form up a few notches recently to win her last two. She impressed on handicap debut at Hamilton so looks the obvious danger also up 6lb. I expect the pair to pull clear and battle this one out.
