Promising colt who was slowly into stride on debut and got caught wide; better for the experience winning head in chest over C&D last time, over 6 lengths clear at the finish; more to come and obvious shout. I loved the way SPECIALIZED dictated before drawing off over track and trip last time and with further improvement to come as he gains experience I expect him to follow up here. He looks a colt that can go up through the grades and is worth keeping on side. Orfano beat the selection last time but obviously that was his first start and he was slow into stride so I wouldn't read massively into that. He is still the danger but he has been gelded and I do think his potential is capped unlike the fav.

Likeable filly who ran a big race on debut only beaten narrowly into second and improved to make a winning return on first start on turf over C&D last month; tons more to come yet so worth keeping safe. The improving JUST NAILS is fancied to make it 2 wins from 3 starts at Del Mar tonight. She is progressing with experience and looks the most likely winner of this. Organic is eyeing up a hat-trick and showed a good attitude last time so looks the danger. Wet My Beak has only had 3 starts and is better than what she managed to show when last seen. She has a big absence to overcome but if the betting speaks strongly then she will be feared as well as she still has potential.
