After shaping well on debut it was good to see KARAT KARAT improve to open her account at Yarmouth. She made all the running and always looked in her comfort zone. Franberri briefly closed up but the winner had a few more gears in the locker and readily went clear at the finish. She has more to come now tackling a mile and a half for the first time and should make it 2 wins from 3 starts.

Roaring Lion colt Humanity was a big eye-catcher on debut going down just a length but failed to fire on reappearance at this track last month. If he bounces back he will still be the danger. Another Run is exposed now but is also worth respecting.

Hard not to be impressed with the way UNLIMITED won on handicap debut at Newbury last week. He was slowly into stride and did pull quite hard but made good headway and stayed on strongly to win with plenty to spare. The runner-up Khinjani improved as well and ran on but could never get to the winner. I think the form will work out. He carries a penalty but is well placed to go in again.

Finest Leader has reacted well to cheekpieces since going up in trip and looks the obvious danger trying to land a four-timer. Another 4lb rise demands more though and he finds himself up against an unexposed rival now too. The rest seem to have enough to find.
