With 3 wins from his last 4 starts the progressive VOLCANIC should prove hard to beat once more. His win over Empire Attraction back in June has worked out notably well with the third, fourth and fifth all winning since and he was nicely in control again last time. He finds generously off the bridle and should be able to notch up another win this evening.

The danger is probably Merlin who had won 2 of his last 3 before disappointing at Saratoga last time. If you put a line through that then he could emerge as the main danger to the selection.

For a 5yo IL MALOCCHIO remains lightly raced. She has actually won 3 of her last 5 starts and was back to her best winning here when last seen. She doesn't lack speed so dropping back to 7f could easily see her improve again and she is the one to beat. I loved the way she found off the bridle last time and if she gets a good pace to aim at she should finish best.

Millie Girl was third to Fev Rover last time which is decent form and if she gets back to her best she will threaten. Hazelbrook is another one who has the form to get involved but has a bit to prove at present.
