After going down just a length on hurdles debut BALTRAY is of major interest here as he bids to go one better. The winner was given a really good ride by Sam Twiston-Davies and he just couldn't peg him back in time but the pair pulled miles clear. He is open to plenty of improvement and should be hard to beat now. Saint Jaguen is a work in progress and if improving will be the main danger.

Stepping up in trip for his hurdles debut GOODWIN looks the way to go here. He ran a promising race on debut under Rules when third in a bumper at Chepstow and freshened up improved to win a bumper at Fontwell when last seen back in February. He looks a nice prospect to go hurdling with now and will love going up to 2 and a half miles. The danger is Emailandy who also has potential.
