Good looking chestnut ROYAL AND TOUGH looks the one to be on here. He has won 4 from 10 overall and when beaten has placed on 4 of those 6 runs so is mega consistent. He impressed winning over track and trip on return at the start of the month and with the promise of more to come should be able to follow up. Warica is more exposed but did win on penultimate start so if both to that form would be the biggest danger in here.

The progressive ARDEN GREEN is hard to oppose in this. He has got better with every start and looked good making the breakthrough at Mornington last month. He should keep progressing with experience and it is no surprise to see him favourite for this. Paris Affair is also a nice type going forward and he ran well when third at Moonee Valley last time so should give the selection most to think about. I’d have the pair a fair bit clear from the rest.
