Race 1 Hawkesbury 2.15 Gitalong (best price 11/10)

I know GITALONG has had 4 chances already but he ran with plenty of promise when last seen and has been trialling well in the run up to this so I think he’ll make the breakthrough now. He goes back up in trip slightly and this is a very winnable race. Single Benefactor left her debut run behind to go close at Kembla Grange and will be the danger if improving on that again.

There was enough promise in that reappearance run from HEAD’EM to make him of strong interest here. He will be fitter and has still only had a handful of starts so could easily improve again. This is winnable and he looks the one to be on. Morryl Moral impressed opening his account at Geelong but then disappointed at Seymour. If bouncing back he could be the one to chase the favourite home.
