The progressive ANISETTE won her first 3 starts this season including at the top level when successful in the Del Mar Oaks back in August. She has been beaten the last twice but has run screamers in defeat. She is still unexposed and if improving again should resume winning ways here. Musical Mischief was very impressive last time and if taking to turf will be the main danger.
The way MAXIMUS MERIDIUS won on debut was mightily impressive. He broke slowly but quickly recovered and then rushed up the inside to force the pace. He was taken on but showed serious gears and then pulled clear always moving best. He is clearly an exciting type going forward and I think he can make it a perfect 2-2 here. Twilight Dancer impressed on penultimate start and didn't do much wrong last time so is the threat.
