I saw more than enough from FACT TO FILE on chase debut at Navan to make him a very strong play here. He jumped and travelled for much of the race before fitness told in the closing stages. American Mike is a smart prospect himself in this sphere so it is form that could work out in time. The third has run well since so it already has substance. He is sure to improve and I'll be very surprised if he doesn't win this. Minella Cocooner is the danger.

While I can see Henri The Second leaving that chasing debut behind he was very poor on that occasion and I'm struggling to forgive him that so quickly. SAINT DAVY was an impressive winner between the flags and did well to win on debut under Rules in a bumper at Carlisle. He then followed up gamely at Chepstow before finding Grade 1 company too hot at Aintree. He has a lot of potential now chasing and is worth chancing against these.
