The tough and likeable PROVERB won 4 from 5 last season and he reappeared with a big run denied just a head last month. He is sure to strip fitter from that and given this is easier he is hard to oppose and deservedly tops the market. Passage of Lines was back to winning ways kicking clear to win at this level last time but this is tougher with the selection running. Rare Jewel ties in with the latter and has ground to make up to spring an upset.
That was a promising start from LIL BUT DELICIOUS to win on debut and with natural improvement she should have a good chance to make it 2-2. She had about 3 lengths to make up but impressed with how she went through the gears and looked in control at the line albeit by a small margin. Mo Rissa drops in grade after struggling again last time so is respected. Onacounta is unexposed though so might be a bigger threat.
