ANOTHER BUSY NIGHT STATESIDE! Racing in America on Thursday from Gulfstream, Mahoning, Aqueduct, Fair Grounds, Turfway Park, Delta Downs and Charles Town. My Daily Double pays 12/1!
The way MAJESTIC RETURN won on penultimate start at Belmont was really impressive for the level. She powered away head in chest and came over 7 lengths clear at the line. She was beaten up in grade last time but that was a decent race and she only missed half a length. She remains unexposed and if improving again should resume winning ways. Cousin Kristi was behind the selection last time and might be the one to chase her home again.
There was lots to like about the way SUMMERTIME PEPPERS won over 5f last time. This colt showed serious speed to get to the front and never saw another rival. The step up to 6f could see him progress again and he is the most likely winner of this. Sounds Like Power won on penultimate start and then only went down a length last time so looks the most obvious danger. Country Guy impressed last time and is another one to note in here.
