I have no doubt INCH HOUSE is the one to beat here back at Newbury. He is unbeaten at this track having opened his account over fences back in November before following up in good style next time out in December. He bumped into a rejuvenated Stumptown at Cheltenham last month and is still unexposed so could easily improve again. Makin'yourmindup bumped into Apple Away at Leicester when last seen and given time since could emerge as the main threat here.

With just 5 horses to beat this looks a great opportunity for LARK IN THE MORNIN to open his account. I know he is well regarded and he ran an eye-catching race when third at Punchestown last month. He is obviously open to further improvement and I'm expecting him to justify favouritism here. Pacini ran out a ready winner at Fairyhouse when last seen and is open to further progress so looks the danger. Open To Question is another one to note.
